The search for the perfect florist proved to be a difficult task for me because I don't know a thing about flowers except for the typical variety of roses. I was never a fan of flowers anyway. I actually got a number of quotes from different florists. The prices range from the affordable to the ridiculously expensive. But when I requested for a quote from Ms. Maybelle, I find hers reasonable but not dirt cheap to the point that you will already doubt the shop's credibility.

I also learned that a former officemate was one of Ms. Maybelle's bride in 2008 and she only has nice things to say about Go For Flowers.

All I wanted is just to have yellow bouquet for my wedding... Calla Lily would be the best option for me since we had a summer wedding, this kind of flower can stand the scorching temperature of the season.

Thanks to Maybelle for granting my request. Like what I have told her when we booked their services, I don't mind what flowers she would use for my entourage, as long as mine would be yellow calla lilies. Well, in fact our entourage loved their bouquets, and the cute flowers for our flowers girls are simply adorable and the teddy bears were really appreciated.

 Go For Flowers is another supplier we found by chance in last May's wedding fair.
We are really happy with the look of the flowers, most especially my wife with her bouquet. Ms Maybelle designed it perfectly as what my wife described it on our meetings.

Delivery was early too. The flowers were already in the hotel by 10:30 AM, just  right time for some photo shoot with Extremedetails.

Happy thoughts: Ms Maybelle was also friendly in talking to her clients and always keeps a smile on her face .Same goes with the staff that delivered the goods on our wedding day She even gave us a fresh pot of flowers on our last meeting as a remembrance.

She is also the one of the suppliers that has NO hassles, NO stress, and most of all, agreed to our requests at no extra charge.

The downside: We never saw Maybell on our wedding day, we are really looking forward to meeting her that day to personally say thanks. But we understand that, I think there are 3 or 4 weddings that Ms Maybelle was booked to that Saturday. Maybe we are just jealous that we are not the chosen couple where she will be present.

 A major part of a bride’s dream is to have her picture with that very plump and elegant wedding bouquet clasped in her hands, and indeed it was a wish come true for me.

 I knew Ms. Maybelle thru a common friend who strongly recommended her to me and little did I knew that it would open new doors for me to finding the perfect wedding florist  and a wonderful friend.

 The first time I had my meeting with Ms. Maybelle, I quickly sensed that this woman knows what she is selling…. She had this passion I did not see with the previous florists that I have met before her. I was always quite skeptical about people and Ms. Maybelle in the first instance proved to me that she knows what she is doing and that she knows each of her flowers indeed very well.

 Ms. Maybelle is uncanny, as she does not impose what she likes, but would gladly hear out what you have in mind…. Figuratively she asked me to paint my perfect flower arrangement. Never did I feel that she was impatient, but she was always attentive and full of vigor. But after I have told her what I had in mind, there was something in me that pushed me to say “I trust you and now I leave it to you.” It was a gamble I would never regret.

 On my wedding day, the flowers were better than I dreamed of… far better than I expected. Ms. Maybelle’s creativity indeed emerged from the beautiful floral arrangement she made on my bouquet, my entourage and of course my hotel reception. It was better than I envisioned, so far better. I got all what I dreamed of and even something better.

 Ms. Maybelle’s love for flowers has opened her eyes to make her flowers as her canvass… and the finished product is her masterpiece. If Ms. Maybelle, could indeed draw in her mind and sketch the beautiful colors with the perfect combination of the size and kind of flower….. she would be a magnificent painter.

But although she was not able to paint like a Picasso, she has indeed painted in my memory a lasting masterpiece of her work that made my wedding truly a perfect one.

 Thank you Ms. Maybelle, we have been privileged to have you as our florist… but we feel more blessed to have you as a friend.

This was a real good find! Go4Flowers isn't really a big name in the wedding flower biz, but in our opinion, they should be! Being relatively new to the scene, not many people know or heard about them...we were just lucky to find their booth at the wedding expo in PICC. Maybelle Focasan was very easy to talk to, flexible with our requests, and most of all, has the capability to provide quality flower arrangements that can make any simple occassion look grand and classy, but at a reasonable price. I say this after comparing them with several other flower suppliers and they really are best-suited for our needs. We wanted lots of flowers...for church entrance, pews + runners along the aisle (you usually get just one of these in basic packages unless you shell out a significant amount of additional cash),bouquets, possies and buttonieres for the entourage and principal sponsors. They not only met our expectations...they exceeded it!
